Healing for Emotional Health Issues

A beam of wonder emanated from Amanda’s spirit. She had a love that could touch a broken heart like no other and in a heart beat turn the ‘least of these’ into a greatest.   She seemed to laugh with such excitement and her smile brought a sense of wonder that filled the atmosphere. Amanda gave everyone a palpable kiss from heaven.  But Amanda experienced many traumas as a child and froze Amanda’s heart in pain. Her joyous expressions halted, and the her inner soul emerged as the complete antithesis of how she was born to shine. She hid behind an iceberg of hiddenness, shame and pain, turning her away from the very expression of God’s glory she was created to carry. The enemy didn’t take out just one soul with that trauma, he took out all that could have experienced her love ‘from a pure heart and sincere faith’ as it says in 1 Peter.

 This is the history of not just a women like Amanda* ( not a actual person) but way more hearts than we wish to admit, perhaps even yours.  Will my heart ever beat again? “ May even be what you are crying out now. Countless emotional health issues, eating disorders, addictions, or just pain and loneliness and so much more. I am saddenned by what the enemy has stolen of our joy and in its place, left hopelessness in our hearts...maybe even your heart. And “Christ says in Col 1:27 that

 He is in us and it is “ the hope of glory” !? So we know that you can have it!! 

 He is here to restore your hope!!! 

 In a recent study, 1  the American Psychological Association discovered that 13% of all people between the ages of 14 to age 27 in 2017 had symptoms of a major depression which was a 62% increase in 8 years .  I am sure that during Covid, this number has increased. And I realize that for some of you reading this, these aren’t just statistics, it has effected you. 

If you are struggling like "amanda" above or with any emotional health issue or if your question is "will my heart ever beat again"? I want to speak to the deep emotional places of your heart that are unnerved, unsettled and feel like Amanda’s. You are worthy - you are loved - you are wanted .  You are worthy to live your life how it was originally designed by Creator who sings over you the first song of your heart! (Zephaniah 3:17) And you can get there! 

Jesus says “Come… all of you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. “ …rest…to your heart and soul. Even creation longs to see the restoration of your heart. (Romans 8:22)

In prayer ministry, we heal those areas of the heart that are locked in pain and produce bad spiritual fruit in our lives. We don’t just talk about them. We do the spiritual work necessary to end the emotional struggles and bring healing to the heart. In so doing, it brings about the fruit in keeping with repentance, and we display the spiritual good fruit talked about in Galatians 5:22.  Our emotional struggles many times arise from what the bible describes as sowing and reaping. Galatians 6:7  states " Make no mistake about it, God will never be mocked! For what you plant will always be the very thing you harvest. The harvest you reap reveals the seed that was planted. "  From our earliest pain, lies begin to form in our hearts, we make vows, stay in bitter judgements and put a false spiritual armor and find it really hard to forgive ! These beliefs, usually attached to unforgiveness allow the enemy to hit our hearts with his fiery darts and to hurt us in the very areas we vowed to never be hurt again!  ( Ephesians 6:16 ) When the emotion, and all our hearts decision  is brought to the Cross, the Cross is sufficient to end our reaping of decisions we have made in the midst of the wound and in the trauma. And the Lord ends the emotional struggles that were once attached to the reaping.   Jesus heals and restores our hearts. He transforms our lives and makes us new. We can experience the resurrection that Jesus so longs for us to experience. Through prayer ministry you will not be “fixed”, nor will your talk about your issues endlessly, but through wisdom, repentance and prayer, the power of the Holy Spirit gives healing and restores your heart to its original design. 

We don’t have to be taken out by all of our emotional health problems, Jesus can heal them, He can end the reaping at the cross. We can be restored and experience the abundant life that He promises.

No need to hide under our facebook facades and instagram images, but you will one day be able to show your REAL face…  It is your time! Your emotionally health issues don’t need to be hidden and unhealed.  If you are wanting transformation waiting for the glory that God promised, there is hope. I speak HOPE into the weary places into your heart. There is an answer - and that is - the cross. 

Your promise still stands, great is faithfulness, still in your hands, you have never failed me yet.
